Sir Gawain is a humble knight of the round table
who is loyal to King Arthur and the court. Throughout the poem we see Sir Gawain's personality from his own words and actions and the way others hold
him higher than he actually is. He's honest, brave, and loyal. Then the seemingly
inevitable loss of his life becomes too great for him to bear and he stresses out, which makes his character so believable. The flaw is human, but not so much as to twist his character
to where his actions and his personality do not come together with each other. This poem is powerful because of his human mistakes.
